Do your own French Manicure…

For some reason I have always done my own nails.  Of course I enjoy getting a pedicure and manicure like the next gal, but I also enjoy painting my own nails on my own time.

Many people are amazed that I can actually do a French Manicure and trust me, it took lots of trials and errors.  I recently discovered a new product by Sally Hansen that makes it so much easier.  Sally Hansen now offers French Manicure Pens and Nail Art Pens that are perfect for drawing designs and flowers on your nails, but also for doing a French manicure.

For doing a traditional white tip French manicure, I recommend Sally Hansen’s French Manicure White Tip Pen Fine Tip in stead of the Traditional Tip.  I have had both, but the traditional tip is harder to use and seemed to split.  The Fine Tip is much easier to use and makes a smooth line.

The Nail Art Pens come in 8 shades:  white, black, light pink, hot pink, blue creme, red frost, silver frost, gold frost.  I must admit that I haven’t purchased these pens yet, but they seem to be pretty popular.  They run for about $7.99 each, but they are frequently on sale.
