Best Pancake Batter – and So Easy to Make
I don’t know if your kids love pancakes as much as mine, but I found the best pancake batter that is already made and so fun to use. I am in love with this pancake batter. They are SO tasty, easy and quick to make, with no mess!
Don’t get me wrong, my kids eat frozen pancakes just as much as the next toddler, but sometimes I like making pancakes and enjoy eating them myself. I found an already made pancake batter at Publix called Organic Batter Blaster. I saw it advertised as a Buy 1, Get 1 Free, so I had to try it out. You can find it in the refrigerated section and I believe that Albertson’s and Costco also carry it.

The batter is in a pressurized can, similar to a whipping cream can. All you do is spray your nonstick pan with Pam, and then press on the top of the can and the batter comes out. I like to make fun shapes with the batter since it is so easy to do. I love making hearts, mickey mouse pancakes, flowers, and then I make the letters of my kid’s names. It is so easy and fun. From time to time, I even make my husband heart pancakes made with love.
To clean up, just rinse the top of the can and then refrigerate to make more pancakes at a later date. One of my previous second grade students (who is now in the 7th grade) learned about it from me and she loves making pancakes when her friends spend the nights. They have fun designing their own shapes.
You can go to Batter Blaster’s website and submit your email address if you want a coupon to try it out. The batter can also be used for waffles, but I haven’t tried them yet.
I have a feeling that I will one day be the Sleepover Mommy Pancake Queen with all of my practice making shapes and figures.
Other tidbits: 80 calories per serving, .5g fat, 17 carbs and Consumer Reports gave it 2 thumbs up!
