Cell phone pictures can be helpful

I just came across a tip that I have heard a few times and I wanted to pass along.

If you have kids and are about to go to an outing, vacation spot, or somewhere crowded, like Disney World– use your camera phone to take a picture of your children in the outfits that they are wearing that day.  If they were to get lost or become missing, law enforcement would know exactly what your child looks like today and not several months ago.

By doing this, you won’t have to frantically recall what your child was wearing that day and you can focus on finding him or her.  Also, I hope that by creating this habit it will remind me that we are in a crowded place and to remind my children to stay near, hold hands, and to maybe even pick a spot to go to if one of us gets lost.  Sometimes the excitement and fun of new places can distract us all.

So, put your cell phone to use and snap those current pics of your beautiful little ones!
