Children’s Medicine Recall- Read this Before You Trash Them
I am sure you have heard about the latest recall for Children’s Motrin, Tylenol, Zyrtec and Benadryl. As you can see in my photo that I had at least one of each product and they are all on the recall list after checking the lot numbers. Refund anyone?

After a friend spent 20 minutes on hold calling their 1-800 number for refund questions to only learn that she needed to call back later with the high volume of calls, we learned that local retailers are issuing refunds.
Target, Sam’s Club, and Publix grocery stores are refunding customers for new and already opened bottles of these recalled items. You do not have to have the original receipt and you will be issued a store credit. I am sure that more places are as well, but I have verified the ones listed above.
You can check your own product individually by going to http://www.mcneilproductrecall.com/ and plug in your NDC # listed on the front of the bottle above the brand name logo.
So, instead of trashing your recalled medicines, try to get some of your money back. I happily received a $51 store credit and some change for the products I had that matched the recall list.
