Biggest Loser Season 9 Just Started

The Biggest Loser Season 9 just premiered last night and it’s a really BIG group this season.  The show will be on Tuesdays at 8pm ET on NBC.

Some of my friends have never seen the show, but I think I have watched all of the previous 8 seasons. I missed some of the episodes, but I still kept in the loop with the progress of the contestants.

Michael is the largest man on this season with a starting weight of 526lbs.  One set of twins, John and James, from Orlando, Fl had a combined starting weight of 969lbs.

Something about watching a 300+ lb man or woman run a marathon or bike 26.2 miles motivates me to exercise.  I feel like if they can do, then I should be able to do a portion of that.  I also get excited for the players when they have huge weight losses and sometimes those losses are almost unbelievable (like 20-30lbs in a week).

I admit that we have watched many episodes while eating ice cream and popcorn in bed, but we are usually still motivated to get back on track the next day.  Watch it  a few times and maybe it will motivate you to get moving and stay healthy in 2010!
