Happy 2010!

Savannah Time at Midnight
Happy New Year!
I hope that you had fun ringing in the new year, whether it was spent with friends, family, or just hanging around in your pjs.
We went to a fun gathering at my aunt’s and enjoyed great food, fireworks, and a bonfire. Most of my cousins were able to attend, so it was nice to be with everyone.
Afterward, my husband and I went downtown to Savannah to ring in the New Year. The weather was a little rainy, but not too cold. We enjoyed the crowd, festivities, and watching on a huge screen the ball drop in Times Square.
As the crowd chimed in to sing Auld Lang Syne, I noticed that the clocks in City Market of Savannah had not yet reached midnight. Savannah must be on its own time, “Savannah Time.” Now I guess that explains why my brothers are always late to everything.
Enjoy the fresh start of the New Year and may it bring you all the best.
Next week I will share my New Years Resolutions for 2010, have you made your list yet?
