How to Stop Pre-Approved Credit Card Junk Mail

I don’t know about you, but junk mail can be annoying and a waste of paper.  I receive about 2-3 pre-approved credit card offers each week and they go directly in the trash.  Now you can opt-out of these credit card offers so they don’t fill up your mailbox.

The Federal Trade Commission has listed a toll-free phone number that you can call to opt-out of all pr-approved credit card offers that  requests that all three major U.S. credit bureaus (Equifax, Experian, TransUnion) remove consumers’ information from pre-approved marketing lists sold to third parties.

Call 1-888-5-OPTOUT (1-888-567-8688) to enter your information to stop receiving unwanted credit card junk mail.
