Southwest Airlines is a Leader in Customer Phone Service

I had the opportunity to fly with Southwest Airlines for the first time and I was really impressed with their customer service and friendliness.  Not only are you allowed TWO FREE checked bags, but they really go out of their way to do a good job.

One friend who was flying with me needed to reach a representative by phone to ask a question and I was really impressed by their phone service.

When you place a call to Southwest, you can choose to stay on the line and wait for the next available representative OR rather than wait on hold, they can call you back within a short time frame (mine was 3-6 minutes) and you won’t lose your place in the call line.  You just enter your phone number and a live representative will call you back!  Yes, you read that correctly…A LIVE REPRESENTATIVE WILL CALL YOU BACK!

I really wish other companies would start using this type of phone service as I hate being on hold for 10 or more minutes and then usually end up getting disconnect anyways.

Way to go Southwest for providing great service and a great price!
