The New Big Plaid Clothing, or Is It Checkerboard?

Well, it’s obvious what is going to be hot this fall and it is the new Big Plaid prints that are all over the stores.  Have you seen them?  Well, how can you not.  The plaid is red and black checkered, green and black checkered, yellow and black checkered, and blue and black checkered.

I have seen this print on clothing in the advertisements of the newspaper, in department stores, and even in stores like Marshall’s and TJMaxx.

I loved the plaid shorts that have been out for a while and especially the plaid shorts for guys and boys.  However, this new plaid is bigger and bolder.

I must admit that I am not sold on this new plaid yet, and I am not sure that I ever will.  I still cringe every time I see it.  I once owned a big plaid shirt, but I last wore it to a Hillbilly party with pigtails and a straw hat.  So, I don’t think this fashion statement is going to go over too well for this gal.
