Keep Necklaces from Getting Tangled
I am still in that spring cleaning mode and hopefully that will end by this summer. I decided to clean and organize my jewelry and must have had about ten necklaces all tangled up. I had kept most of them in those plastic little jewelry bags, but they just got into all sorts of knots.
With the help of a needle, baby oil, and some patience I was able to unknot all of the necklaces but I don’t want to go through this ordeal anytime soon.
Some of the ideas I found for organizing necklaces were the individual jewelry bags, hanging them on tacks or hooks in your closet, wrapping them each in tissue paper, or using a necklace organizing device. However, the idea that I found that was the best for me uses a drinking straw!
Cut a small slit in both ends of a plastic drinking straw and funnel the necklace through the straw. Then secure the straw at the ends through the slits. The straw method is easy to store in a jewelry box and easy for traveling.

Do you have any ways to store your necklaces so they won’t get tangled?
