Easy To Make Holiday Card Holder

I have a holiday card holder, but when I fill it with cards, some cards tend to cover others and I can’t quite enjoy all of the wonderful pictures of friends and family.

Ribbon Holiday Card Holder

Last year I started making a ribbon holiday card holder for the pantry door, so I can see all of the cards (and it turns out super-cute and really inexpensive).

Just tape some festive ribbon on the inside of the door, drape it over, maybe add a little bow at the end and …Voila!

I usually add double sided tape in various places down the ribbon so that it doesn’t fly everywhere when I open and shut the doors.  You can either attach cards to the ribbon using double sided tape, paperclips, clothespins, staples, or bobby pins.

If you save your holiday picture cards each year, I recommend not using the double sided tape. I made this mistake last year and put them in a pile forgetting about the tape.  So, they are all stuck together now.  This year I am using bobby pins.

You could also use this same idea for attaching cards to a large holiday bow.

Such a cute idea! My cards always end up in a pile on the counter.

That is a nice way to display your cards! I usually stick them to the window frame around the sliding glass door but they end up falling off and getting stuck in the door – LOL. I think I’ll give your idea a try this year!
