Make a Holiday Cinnamon Votive

I love having candles around the house during the holidays and put them in most of the rooms.  This year I made a cinnamon votive holder and it was really easy to do.

Step 1: Take a glass votive or any kind of glass candle holder and glue cinnamon sticks around it.  I used an all purpose glue (E -600) since I wasn’t sure how hot glue would work on glass.

You can purchase cinnamon sticks at most craft stores, World Market and grocery stores.   Crafts stores and World Market tend to be cheaper when purchasing a larger quantity.

Step 2: After gluing the cinnamon sticks, you can tie it with a bow and any other decoration.  If you add small pine cones for more decoration then you could keep the candle out all winter!
