Low Carb Pizza Using Portobello Mushrooms

Dieting can always be difficult because we usually have to give up the foods we love in order to lose. For me, one of those things is pizza.

However, I was just introduced to the tip of substituting the pizza crust for a portobello mushroom cap.  If you are limiting your “bad carbs” and you love mushrooms, then you will love this idea for making pizzas.

Directions:
Heat oven to 350 degrees and spray both sides of the mushroom with cooking spray and put on an aluminum-foil lined pan.  Top mushroom with pizza or tomato sauce and with cheese.  You could also add an other veggie toppings and turkey pepperoni.  Bake for 10-15 minutes and enjoy!
