Ruby Gettinger – A Weight Loss Inspiration to all

Okay, somehow I stumbled upon the show called Ruby one day last spring on the Style Network and I was hooked.

Ruby Gettinger’s weight had been up to 700 pounds and a reality show was created to show her weightloss to inspire others.  Ruby lives in Savannah, Georgia (my hometown) and it is filmed there, so I think that is why I was first drawn to the show.

At first my husband was like, “Oh no, not another one of these shows” (since I am addicted to Biggest Loser).  However, he too became a watcher. 

Ruby is a southern charmer and after watching her for awhile, you too will begin to cheer her on.  She was seen on Oprah this past March and the second season of her show just started this past June, but I am sure you can find all of her reruns on the Style Network.

So, if you are waiting for your other shows to start their new season and you are tired of always watching the news, then look her up and check her out.
