The Master Cleanse Day 1- This Gal’s Journey
Day 1 – The Master Cleanse (Also known as the Lemonade Diet)
Today I started the Master Cleanse. This is the 4th time that I have done the cleanse. It has been about 1.5 since I did it last. I will post my information so that you can be apart of this cleansing journey.
Today I think I drank 7 of the lemonade drinks. I went to the gym this morning and I felt like my sweat smelled of Maple Syrup. I drank the Smooth Move Tea this morning (8:00am) and it kicked in around 1:30pm. I ended up having really bad cramping from the tea, so I will not steep the tea as long tonight.
I didn’t do the Salt Water Flush this morning because I didn’t like the way it made me feel the last time I cleansed. I might consider doing the SWF (Salt Water Flush) in a few days when I read more info on the web. Instead I am sticking to the tea for now.
I have been very thirsty today, so I have had lots of water. I feel a little tired today, a little light headed, a little irritable. Usually the first 2-3 days of the cleanse are worst for me, so it hasn’t been that bad for one of the worst days.
It was a little hard for me to prepare my kids meals and snacks without munching on anything myself. I have good willpower, so I am using it often today.
I know that it will get easier as I continue the fast. I plan on drinking the tea tonight, so I hope I won’t be up all night long.
