The Master Cleanse – Day 2 – This Gal’s Journey
Today is day 2 of the Master Cleanse and it is usually the worst day for me. This morning I woke up fine and stepped on the scale for a 2.8 lb weight lost. I was happy about the weight loss, but of course most of it is water.
I read from another blog, that a girl had the same issues with the “Smooth Move Tea” giving her really bad cramping. She suggested warming the water and then dunking the tea bag in the water about 8 times instead of having it steep so long. I tried this last night and this morning and I didn’t have cramping at all. So, I think I am going to continue to do that.
I had a slight headache this morning, but nothing to complain about. After shopping for more lemons at Whole Foods, one of the cashiers asked if I was doing the cleanse since I was buying so many lemons. She said that one of the employees there did the cleanse and got a really bad headache. I told her how that how not happened to me this cleanse yet.
Well, two hours later it came, and it came hard. I can’t seem to get rid of it and I know I can’t take a pain reliever. I am sure it is all of the withdraws from caffine, salt, etc. I think it will be gone in the morning, but even closing my eyes doesn’t help. My husband has been very helpful around the house since he knows I don’t feel good, and he even did the laundry! Yeah!!! I love that guy!
I am still experiencing the chills, but someone said it is probably because my body is not using energy to burn the food, so that is what makes me cold.
I think that day 3 is usually better for me, so hopefully I will have a happier report.
