Burn More Calories While You Eat

I saw a new product in a magazine the other day and I had to share it since it made me giggle inside.

The product is called the Knife and Fork Lift and basically they are 1.5 lb eating utensils.  In order your food to reach your mouth, you actually have to lift weights while eating. Granted 1.5lbs doesn’t seem like very much, but it definitely makes eating a little bit more challenging.

If the weights were too heavy and awkward to hold, you would risk dropping it on your plate and breaking your dishes.  So, I can understand why the 1.5 lbs was chosen.

I think this company should have created this with the spoon in mind for that late-night bowl of ice cream.    I definitely don’t use a knife as often as a spoon, so they really need a fork and spoon lift.

I think it would definitely help me eat a little slower, but I would be afraid the kids would find them and drop them on their toes.

Of course you are going to look silly while eating with these utensils, but do you think it would help you from eating that last bite?
