Gevalia Coffee Giveaway!

Contest Closed

My husband and I savor our morning coffee and we love trying new brands.  Over the years we have become more particular about our coffee and we know a good coffee when we taste it!

I was so excited when Gevalia coffee sent me some of their 1853 Heritage Blend to taste test and to giveaway to one of my lucky readers.  Once the package arrived I was eager to roast a pot, but I anxiously waited 18 hours for to have it as my morning brew.  Nothing can be better than starting my day with my morning coffee and I needed to have my palate ready for a true review.

I decided to have my husband and I review the coffee at the same time since we both love our coffee.  (I actually cheated and had a cup before he woke up, but I didn’t make any comments until after he tried it.)

For our first comment we  both looked at each other and said “smooth.”  We agreed that their coffee isn’t too strong or bitter as Starbucks can sometimes be.  It also didn’t have that weird aftertaste that some of the cheaper brands of coffee have.  Its not too weak, not too strong, just perfect.  The 1853 Heritage Blend is just right and I am now savoring the last of the container.

The 1853 Heritage Blend is a medium roast coffee that has a subtle flavor of caramel and definitely receives a 10 out of 10 stars from this Chatty Gal (and her husband).  It will be available for purchase for a limited time starting mid-July but I hope that they make it available indefinitely.
