My Experience at the Blog World Expo in Las Vegas
Thanks to Blog Catalog and their contest, I was able to attend Blog World Expo 2009 in Las Vegas. My husband and I really enjoyed meeting the gang at Blog Catalog and appreciate their hospitality.
I learned many new things about blogging, especially the use of social media and the new FTC Rules and Regulations. I was excited to send my first tweet so you can follow me @ChattyGalBlog if you use Twitter. I was fortunate enough to meet many of the “big-name bloggers” and attended their sessions.
Market Leverage provided us free tickets to attend the Cirque de Soleil show LOVE, which celebrates the musical legacy of The Beatles.
LOVE was a phenomenal show and is now one of our favorite Cirque de Soleil shows. I am a fan of the Beatles, so I often had to restrain myself from singing aloud. The costumes, visuals, performance and sound effects were amazing and a great interpretation of the music. If you have a chance to go to Vegas, you should definitely see LOVE!
We had a great time at the Blog World party at the award-winning Lavo Nightclub. Dinner with Dina, Mike and Gary from Market Leverage at Envy Steakhouse was outstanding and is now one of my favorites. It was also nice meeting and chatting with John Chow, Zac Johnson and others.
The next day I had a unique experience with my first infrared body wrap, which I will save details for another post.
I am sure you are wondering if we gambled, and we did play the slots in our spare time. You will see that I did well at the slots, but ended up losing some of that the next day. Overall, we were happy to bring home some winnings.
I am very appreciative to have had this opportunity, but now I am even more grateful to be home with my little ones.

You are very, very welcome. Sorry we couldn’t see LOVE with you, but thanks really goes to HeatherinBC for the tickets. While I’m sad she missed out on the Blogworld fun, I’m glad you guys were able to use the Cirque tickets.
We should’ve taken more pictures at the spa- I’m surprised they didn’t do a before and after! See you in a few weeks- AdTech, yes?
