School Supply Deals— Time to stock up

Didn’t you used to love getting to go “Back to School” shopping for your new pens, folders, and supplies?  Well, now is the time to shop for school supplies for your children or even for charities.  Many stores have buy one get one free items that makes it easy to donate items to charities looking to acquires supplies for those less fortunate.

You can also stock up on school supplies now for the second half of the year, because by then your children probably can use new markers, crayons, paper, and folders.  I was an elementary teacher for 5 years and I know that by January and February we were out of most glue, markers were dry, crayon colors were at a minimum, and who know what happened to all of those scissors.

If you have any nephews or nieces that are really creative and artsy, you can make a craft kit for them as a birthday gift or Christmas gift. You can just buy a little container and maybe fill it up with some coloring books, stickers, markers, crayons, glitter, glue, and child scissors.

So, try to take advantage of some of these deals and try to think out of the “pencil box” for ways in which you can benefit later.
