How to Save a Cell Phone That’s Gotten Wet
Fortunately I never dropped a cell phone in water, but I have had mine drooled on by teething little ones. (Trust me, my phone wasn’t my first baby distraction of choice, but in tough times the phone worked.)
If your phone or other technology device gets wet, take the battery out and put the battery and the phone in a container of rice. The rice will soak up most of the moisture. Some recommend leaving in it the rice for two days to fully dry it out.
I think the rice dryer method would also work with a watch that has gotten water underneath the glass. It’s worth a shot!
